On November 5th, 2020，the School of Nursing held the Graduate Education Management Virtual Seminar over Tencent Meeting. The meeting was chaired by Dean of the School of Nursing, Prof. Mao Jing. Teachers, representatives from the affiliated hospitals and graduate supervisors attended the meeting.
The Chairman of School Board, Ms. XU Hui, together with the other participants, once again viewed the important national instructions related to graduate education. She also conveyed the speech of Ractor LI Yuanyuan who gave at the university’s Summer Work Meeting and the development goals of the university’s 14th Five-Year Plan. She pointed out that the carders in charge of graduates as well as graduate supervisors should be united to form synergy in promoting graduate education and management in the new era.
The teachers all spoke out to express their ideas by addressing the current problems of graduate education as well as the further development plan based on 14th five-Year Plan. Some of them showed deep concerns about the quality of graduate education and the selection of supervisors.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. MAO Jing gave the closing remarks. She highly praised the teachers’ suggestions and pointed out the number of graduate students of the school has increased significantly due to their hard work. She said that the graduate education is facing new challenges, and the School of Nursing must develop a relatively more mature system concerning the graduate education management.
