Professional Experience
Jiang Yan has been engaged in clinical nursing for 26 years, serving as head nurse for 12 years, and is the captain of the Nursing Research Innovation Team of Tongji Hospital. She is currently a member of the Youth Committee of the Ophthalmology Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, a member of the Hubei Provincial Invention Association, and a national second-level psychologist. She presided over and participated in 14 national-level provincial and municipal projects, published more than 40 papers in core journals, obtained 11 national patents, 4 computer software copyrights, and won many awards in national innovation competitions. She is the associate editor ofSurgical Nursing, the tutorial of the 11th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Health, the editor-in-chief of Health Care Books,Perfect Yoga for Breast Health, the lecturer ofNational Surgical Nursing---General Surgery MOOC Course,which won the second prize in the national online open course competition in 2018.

Courses Taught
Jiang Yan, at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, is the initiator of “Interdisciplinary Medical Innovation” and the elective course led by nursing staff- “cross-border innovation and practice based on medical clinical real needs and applications”- won the "double first-class" construction quality education of Huazhong University of Science and Technology Undergraduate course construction funding. The course fills the gap in the nursing innovation series, creating a new model for medical experts and cross-border scholars to jointly teach, and expands the role of nursing staff in the education work.
