2. Biography:
Professor Geng is the Vice-Director of the Department of Nursing of the Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, and the Vice-Director of the Gynecology Nursing Committee of Chinese Nursing Association. As a researcher and project manager, she has the expertise and skills to lead and implement research projects. In the past decades, she has presided and participated in over 30 academic projects supported by Science & Technology Department of Hubei Province, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, Wuhan Union Hospital and others. As results of these and other studies, she has published more than 70 nursing research articles, has edited and participated in 10 nursing science textbooks. and has applied for 22 patents. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including Chinese Nursing Association "Outstanding Nursing Worker", "Excellent Manager" in Wuhan Union Hospital, "Three Educators' Activist" in Huazhong University of Science & Technology and others.
