On 23 February, a founding congress of China Health-Tourism-Insurance Industry Innovation Alliance was hold in Beijing. Vice Chairman of the 10th NPC, Gu Xiulian attended the congress and gave a speech. As one of the launching units, School of Nursing was elected as the deputy agent unit.

At the congress, an unveiling ceremony, certificate issuing and a series of peak forums were held. Honorary Presidents of the Alliance, Gao Shangquan former vice-director of State Commission for Restructuring, Zhang Wenkang former minister of Public Health Ministry, Li Kemu former vice-chairman of China Insurance Regulatory Commission, Jin Xiaotao former vice-director of National Health and Family Planning Commission, and President of the Alliance, He Jiesheng administrative vice minister of Public Health Ministry awarded certificates to the member units. As the representative of vice-chairman units, Mao Jing Dean of School of Nursing went onto the stage to receive the certificate.

It is reported that China Health-Tourism-Insurance Industry Innovation Alliance was launched by He Jiesheng former administrative vice minister of Public Health Ministry to implement the strategic idea of “Health China” by President Xi Jiping. It’s a community integrating social organizations, famous universities and scientific research institutions and enterprises in the field of medical health, tourism operation and finance & insurance. This alliance is devoted to integrate resources in health, tourism and insurance in order to create a good situation for creating a better and happier life for the people.
